SQLModeller Posted May 25, 2020 Share Posted May 25, 2020 (edited) This is the 1:72 Academy USN EA-18G "ShadowHawks". The build is straight out of the box and airbrushed with a mixture of Tamiya and MIG paints. I have left this aircraft pretty clean, although I saw a picture of an EA-18 with almost green (I have used RML Grey) looking beaten up drop fuel tanks. I have added them to this model to try and break up the colour scheme a bit. Although you cant see it here in the photos - the iconic "ShadowHawks" wording is down either side of the drop fuel tanks. Here is a top down view into the cockpit - I have painted the internal cockpit in a medium blue colour which I think at this scale still looks a dark grey.
