Open speed brakes on any F-86 or Fury do NOT look like this!! Why is that so hard? :soapbox::bandhead2::deadhorse1:

Especially when you're building something that's supposed to advertise your product a tiny bit of attention would be nice. Of course we'll now see many more Sabres build with the speed brakes put on wrongly because it's on the box art...

Sorry, off my soap box now, as you were. 🙂

parts in the box look very similar to the old ProModeler kit. Is this the same plastic?

Sprues are identical do Revell's ones. So it must be Revell.

Wow I have always liked the JASDF Sabre Dogs. Could never lay my hands on the decals though. I have tow of the Monogram kits already but maybe I can pick up the Mono/Academy version?

I found a ProModeler kit buried under a bunch of other kits the otherday. Forgot all about it. Looked at it out of curiosity, and was impressed! Even the decals looked great for twenty odd years (hear that Tamiya?). Also found a Monogram Canada Air Saber in that bunch. It has the Hartman markings.  Yet not nearly as nice as the F86d
