Lucio Martino
Hi, How would you clean this needle? I used rubbing alcohol and then lacquer thinner. It belongs to an used Badger 200 airbrush (medium) I bought days ago on eBay. Lucio
Bob Beary
Lacquer thinner should be able to clean anything. You might try a fine metal polish compound, Brasso, or even toothpaste. 4/0 steel wool ? Very fine sandpaper for everything except the tip? Bob
Mstor
That looks like the surface of the needle has been tarnished or etched and worn down. I agree with Bob and would try polishing with a mild abrasive. God knows what the last user used on it for it to get like that. Maybe it has something to do with the metal Badger uses for its needles?
Lucio Martino
Well, Where 90% rubbing alcohol and lacquer thinner failed, toothpaste succeed ! Now, I am pretty worried by what I get on my teeth several time a day... Edited June 18, 2020 by Lucio Martino

Just about all toothpastes have a mild abrasive in them. The better to scrub the gunk off your teeth with
