Dutch
After purchasing my first Hobbycraft 1/72 CF-100 Mk.5 kit, I was disappointed to open the box and find Mk.4B plastic and decals in a Mk.5 box. So the search continued. Recently I was able to secure another Mk.5 kit. But once again, I received Mk.4B plastic and decals in a Mk.5 box. This time Astra instructions and decals were also included. So my question is: did Hobbycraft ever mold 1/72 CF-100 Mk.5 plastic, or instead, just repackage Mk.4B plastic as a Mk.5? I know that they did release 1/48 Mk.4B and Mk.5 plastic. Dutch
Never mind! I will just extend the wings and tail.
phantom
They did indeed. But I have not seen one in some time. The decals back then are garbage. Then again, so was the kit, but it was the only game in town.
Lost_Erik
I can drop decals into the mail for you; but there is a reason I didn't use them. (PM.)
Dutch
Thanks guys, but I am set. I have the Skylancer decals which will allow me to do two complete Mk.5s. I also have the Modeldecal #100 with Belgium AF markings for a Mk.5. I just need to add the extensions to the wings. K/r, Dutch
