jonf45
Hi, Slowly making my way through the Tomcat kit manufacturers! Next up is the new Academy one( to be finished as VF-142 Ghostriders machine if i can ever get hold of the later decals!!!) Anyway, finished off this Hasegawa F-14 today. This is BuNo 160406/AJ207, USS Nimitz, circa 1986. The kit had far too many tiny/fiddly bits for my liking/ability, and disappointed that the wings cant swing. I had the idea of not glueing the wing bladders so the wing position could be interchangeable then promptly put the long red stripe over the first set, idiot!!! The decals went on really nicely though. I made a few mistakes as usual, and i really wish id left the wings clean as dont like how the scuff marks came out, but you live and learn(hopefully!) On to the next one...... HAJO Thank you 🙂 yeah I can do, just dont expect it to be much more than me glueing my fingers together, breaking important parts or losing small parts!!!
Hajo L.
Well, that should be entertaining at least! 😄 HAJO
Darren Roberts
That's a fun project. I'm just about done doing it in 1/48 scale. It's interesting to see just how far tooling and design technology has come.
