FL32-2003 Mk-83 1000lb bombs with BSU-85 fins

Recommended Posts

This set includes two (2) Mk-83 1000lb bombs, two (2) BSU-85 fins and two (2) each of the following : M904 nose fuzes, Mk-43 TDD and MXU-735 Nose Plugs.

The Mk-83 was the weapon of choice for the USN and USMC during Operation Desert Storm and was used extensively throughout the war. Yours truly built several dozen of them while deployed to Sheik Isa Air Base in Bahrain!

Below is a quick build of the first batch that were produced. Refinements have since been made to the files and the production sets are much smoother.

What is wrong with Eduard’s SUU-30?

Nothing, but as he mentioned not liking PE, I would suspect he's asking for complete resin items.

Oops thought these 1/48. I was requesting the GBU-32, SUU-30’ to be 1/48

I actually do have them in 1/48 scale (already available on the site and at Spruebrothers). The GBU-32 is definitely on the list. However, due to the number of SUU-30 already available, I may pass on those. Sales overall have been good, but not great and I really can't justify spending the hours it takes to create these to release an item currently done by several others.
