1/72 sound proofing suggestions

Hello

Some years ago I used aluminium foils that you can find on top of coffee pots, over wine bottles or inside cigarettes packages. For these I am not sure as I do not smoke anymore.

Welch's Sparkling Grape Juice has a metal foil wrapper on the top that has a diamond pattern imprinted on it that works great for 1/72 helo interiors. I carefully remove and unfold it, gently stretching it to remove the wrinkles. Cuts easily with a pair of scissors and windows can be trimmed out using a No.11 X-acto blade.

I usually use a single layer of kleenex. Fits perfect with water-thinned white glue. Does not have any lines or structure, but you can put some wrinkles in it.

Is there existing interior plastic you can rub tin foil on?  that's how I did 1/32 revell sound mats.
