suggestion for a 3M reusable respirator

Recommended Posts

Hi. I am wondering if anyone is using a respirator when painting your models and when cutting, sanding resin parts ?

I am looking at this model and wondering if it is good enough.

Any advise or suggestion is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Thanh.

Yes, I have been using my N95's that I had purchased to paint my garage a few years ago for my most recent modeling endeavors.  As your link refers to P100, a rough equivalent to HEPA, you should be good to go.

1. Make sure the size is correct for you.

2. Given the current Covid-19 issues, be aware there may be cartridge replacement issues for the near term.  Be prepared with $$$.

3. Stick with authentic 3m.
