Adichau
Hello Everyone, This is the Hawk MK132 used by the SuryaKiran Aerobatic Team of the Indian Air Force. I have used he HobbyBoss Hawk Mk127 as a base kit and did little modifications to complete this as the Mk132 version. The kit is good with not much fit issues but it is inaccurate in some places. 1. the Nose tip is sharp and has to smoothend out for the correct shape 2. The wings are from a Hawk Mk 1 i think as they have 4 wing fences moulded in ... . HobbyBoss trying to make use of the single mould for all the versions. 3. The The exhaust is shallow 4. For nitpicking the real aircraft have 15 vortex generators while the kit provides 9 5. Wheel hubs are shallow 6. The tail fin has moulded in formation lights and the chaff and flare dispenser. 7. The color callouts for the 60 Years scheme for Red color is wrong. Paints used were locally available acrylics . . just two of those for the body . . white and red for the SuryaKiran Color scheme. Enjoy the photos and the Build video . . . Regards Captain Adi
