MigMadMarine
Hi all, Today I have a small question, can someone tell me how to clean alclad paint in an airbrush ? I tried gunze thinner, mig thinner, and it does not work, so I am completly lost at this stage. Thanks for your answers. Regards
Bob Beary
Hardware store lacquer thinner. Bob
dnl42
What he said. HW store lacquer (cellulose) thinner to clean airbrush for any lacquer or enamel paint. Don't dare use HW store lacquer to thin paint. Don't waste your money using model paint thinner to clean your airbrush.
Mstor
What Bob and dnl42 said. Plain old Lacquer thinner will clean out Alclad, most any lacquer paints, enamels, Tamiya paints, Gunze solvent based paints. No modeling setup should be without some. Even if you don't use solvent based paints, there are times when a good soak in lacquer thinner will clean out any gunk left in an airbrush.
