JeffreyK
Furball had a sheet of the early grey over white scheme, but it's for the '65/'66 time frame. If might do the job with some tweaks? https://www.victorymodels.com/products/furball-1-48-decal-for-f-4c-gull-gray-usaf-phantoms-48-032 https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/FBD48032 Edited August 19, 2020 by JeffreyK
Bounce
that's pretty cool! I went to a 45tfs reunion / funeral in Santa Barbara and met a bunch of those heroes.
jpk
What about the Hasegawa F-110 kit? Just leave off the large F-110 decal for the nose. If I recall the rest are pretty much standard. I think the kit will be essentially the Navy B but the decals should work on a C/D kit.
F4DPhantomII
Jeffrey K thanks that will work.JPK I would need a 2nd sheet as I am using the 1st F-11O sheet on the Academy F-4B kit.
Dutch
Kursad at Caracal has said that he will do an "Early Phantom" F4H-1 & F-110/F-4C circa 1963-64 decal sheet to go along with his other "early" themed decals in 1/48 & 1/72 scale (F-14, F-15, F-16, F-18). There is a thread on the Caracal forum. K/r, Dutch Edited August 20, 2020 by Dutch
