martin_sam_2000
This is one of the current builds I am working on. It is Tamiya's A6M5c Zero. It is an older tooling, but with a bit of work should look great. So far I managed to get the cockpit panted as well as the tires and forward cowling black. I plan on tying to do some interesting weathering on this to make it look used an abused. Thanks for looking, Sean
martin_sam_2000
slowly poking away at this....I have been focused on my large scale Twin Otter project for the last few months.. I have made some progress on this kit. The cockpit is finished SInce these pictures were taken, I have glued the fuselage together and I have painted the area around the cockpit black. Stay tuned for those pictures and more in my next update. Sean Edited December 5, 2020 by martin_sam_2000
martin_sam_2000
Some more progress on this. I have finsihed the basic assembly and it is ready for paint. I had an issue with my airbrush so there is a little bit of spitting with the primer that I need to clean up, then I will be ready to start the salt weathering. martin_sam_2000
Painting has started. I went with the salt technique for paint chipping and I am happy with how it turned out. Sean
