Too bad the prices for their other re-pops aren't reasonable ... when you can find them. Maybe this one will be different.

I think "reasonable" depends greatly on what part of the world you're in, and to a lesser extent how badly you want a given subject that the original manufacturers have neglected to reissue for give or take a decade.  Outside the EU these reboxes are generally more expensive than the original makers' retail prices, but those have been moot for years.  If the original makers won't reissue them I'd rather see Hobby 2000 do it than pay collector prices or go without.  And Hobby 2000 is generally adding at least some premium to the mix, such as aftermarket quality decals and a mask set in case of the Phantoms.

This great for rationalizing my buying a bunch of Fujimi Skyhawks when they were first released. You can pay now or you can pay more later....

:salute:

That's why I have so many Hasegawa 1/72 Phantoms.

As Quixote74 said, the price of this particular kit in Polish shops, such as this one: http://ksmodel.pl/sklep/szczegoly/hobby-2000-72029-a-4b-skyhawk-limited-edition-1-72-22408/
is around 54 PLN, which is less than 15 USD at today's PayPal exchange rate - is it a lot (don't know the typical Fujimi pricing)?
I can understand that the US prices may be higher, because H2K doesn't have an official distributor in US yet, but they're working on it.

For me, any Fujimi Skyhawk is cool. B's are fun too, though AFAIK these are the only units that did the SEA combat cruise flying Bravos. Would love a C. And for the E/F - so many cool options.

I seem to remember getting a Fujimi Skyhawk for around the same price as these. Quite a few years ago. I wonder if there are some additional "not for use" parts. In A-4M / OA-4M boxings You got both the single and double seater front fuselages with canopies.

Same for the Fujimi Blue Angels Skyhawk. They had parts for both the A-4F as well as the TA-4J:

Looks like the under wing part 89,  required in both B and C ver but only can be found in E/F or later boxing, is still missing from this release!

Strictly speaking, it was added during A4D-2N (A-4C) production and retrofitted to earlier, surviving A4D-2Ns and some (most?) A4D-2(A-4B)s so earlier A4D-2s won't have it. Also see https://tailspintopics.blogspot.com/2012/07/new-airfix-172-4b4p-modeling-notes.html
