I'm looking for one to add to my Monogram Air Power set. For those of you too young to remember, the Air Power set consisted of 18 common 1/240 scale USAF aircraft. It was only issued once in 1959. The kit has C-130 and KC-135 transports, but sadly didn't include a Globemaster...which was the service's primary long range transport of the time. I'd like to have a '124 with my set since my father flew them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. In case you're interested, the kit consists of: B-47, 52, 57, 58, 66. C-130, KC-135. SA-16. T-33. You have to create an account and log into ask the designer a question...and the one offered has gear and a "slightly grainy surface" (which could be a big deal at that scale), and seems to lack window detail. Trojan Thunder Posted October 29, 2020 Share Posted October 29, 2020 Shapeways is a huge 3D printing community. I have not used them but I know of plenty of other who have without issues. As regards to the graininess, it can be reduced depending on printer type and material used, the 3D resin printers produce a much betting result (grain almost not noticeable and cleaned up with a little wet and dry) than the ABS types.
