Iranian F-14 info

Recommended Posts

Hi guys

I am about to build three iranian f-14 in 1/72

One with the old desert camo

One with the splinter camo and

One with the new grey one

Can ask you if you know the correct colors for each one in tamiya gunze MRP or real colors?

Also do you have photo of a heavily weathered iranian plane?

Thank you

MRPs:

Applicable to desert camo and new splinter camo

Tan FS 20400 - MRP-244

Brown FS 30140 - MRP-233
Forest Green FS 34079 - MRP-101

Camouflage Grey FS 36622 - MRP-104

There are two variants of blue camo - blue/grey and blue/sand

Blue is both times FS35450 - MRP-240

Sand FS33578 - MRP doesn't have this colour in their selection but I'd take MRP-226 Sand and take it from there

Grey FS36622 - MRP-104

A few months ago I posted some shots of the three blue/grey F-14s I was able to catch when I had the chance to sneak into the country with a small group two years ago. Should be weathered enough I think. Here you go (about to the middle of each thread):
