Glynn Jacobs
I've GOT to get me some MRP paints for my Viggens and a few other birds. Looks great! WARDOG
RichardL
I used a combination of Model Master Acryl and Vallejo Model Air on my old 1/48 ESCI kit many years ago, way before MRP was born: Edited November 11, 2020 by RichardL
SERNAK
@ HomeBe & RichardL; a hypothetical/ subjective question: Do you think 'splinter' paint schemes look better on 1/72 aircrafts or, on the other two scales (1/48 & 1/32)? The reason why I'm asking both of you this question (and anyone else that reads, please feel free to add your opinions) is because, I have quite a few 1/72 aircrafts (American, Russian, and Swedish) and all of them at some point during their career have used a splinter scheme, and I was thinking if it worths the effort to reproduce them in a smaller scale than in the other two bigger scales. What do you think guys?
RichardL
I think the 'splinter' schemes look pretty decent on 1/72 aircrafts. I would give it a shot. You haven't lived until you've done the splinter camo.

seawinder
It's a lot of tiny, angular pieces of masking tape, whatever the scale.
RichardL
Yep, nothing to it.
