LA2019
I'm working on my 1/200 Man-in-Space Saturn V and was hoping that someone has an image or instructions that show the proper stage alignment for the rocket? I've tried some books at the library and have looked at images online but it is hard to discern alignment between the stages. Any help will be greatly appreciated! ken
southwestforests
You too eh! Even with having several books about Saturn V, I resorted to copying the alignment on Revell's and Airfix's 1/144 models which I also have. (actually, going to look at the still in grey primer 1/200 model, it may be part copying and part just giving up and not caring any more) Even these books don't answer that question satisfactorily, Edited November 11, 2020 by southwestforests
southwestforests
Hey, idea, just posted about your question in the Scale section at The Rocketry Forum for flying model rockets https://www.rocketryforum.com/forums/scale.45/ Surely someone there will know. Member over at The Rocketry Forum has diagrams for rivet locations on the fins, so go sharpen your rivet tool! And has something like 5G of reference material.
habu2
David Weeks drawing set is the best reference IMO: http://www.realspacemodels.com/drawing-sets/148-saturn-v-drawing-set

habu2
Warning - once you get the DW drawing set you will realize just how inaccurate every available Saturn V kit is.
