seawinder
I'm doing the Revell 1/48 F-15E in one of the SCUD-destroyer roles during Desert Storm. It calls for two GBU-10s on each of the inner fuselage pylons and one on the centerline pylon. I'm a bit puzzled about the placement of the latter, and I've been unable to find any photographs showing the configuration. The problem is that the Revell center pylon piece has two swaybraces right up at the forward end. Not only are they placed much closer together than the bomb's mounting equipment, but even if the bomb were centered on the swaybraces, the forward bomb mount would line up some distance ahead of the forward end of the pylon. Can anybody help with an approximate fore-and-aft location of the bomb on the pylon and also whether or not the swaybraces need to be relocated or omitted? Thanks, Pip
Niels
Whether GBU-31 or GBU-10, the centerline attachment is the same for all. Some ref's that might help you out: https://no.pinterest.com/pin/487233253413298471/

ElectroSoldier
The forward most suspension lug will mount to where the lug is on the kit, the rear most will move back
