Wally Posted December 9, 2020 Share Posted December 9, 2020 Hello, I’m just getting back into building, for the second time this century, and I was looking at building the old AMT ‘63 Vette using the classic metallic blue. I remember this kit from my childhood as well as the Testors rattle can color. Much to my dismay, that color has been discontinued. Can anyone recommend an appropriate alternate for this color? Wally Posted January 12, 2021 Author Share Posted January 12, 2021 Thanks for the suggestion!! I have now looked at their line and saw the 1965 color, which would be just fine but all back ordered. I have tried mixing my own and I’m going to use a mix of MM Japanese Int Met Blue and gloss white. It should also work just fine for my purposes. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
