Wally
Hi all, Back to the hobby after a 5-6 year break. Now that I have a few builds under my belt and am starting to feel my (admittedly novice) skills return, I wanted to gift myself a 1/32 DO 335 kit. My question here is if you had a choice between the HK Models and the Zoukei-Mura kits, which one would you choose? I’m not asking about which is the best, most accurate, rather just looking for input on which manufacturer would provide a more pleasant build experience. I do see that the ZM kit has a ton of aftermarket goodies out there but that’s not a factor in my decision. I do have the ZM J7W1 kit in my stash so I at least understand the quality of this manufacturer. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Dave Williams
The HKM kit is an easier build, plus it comes with a nose weight. As far as aftermarket goes, there is a fair amount of aftermarket for the HKM kit too, like wheels and canopy masks for the B, exhausts, Eduard PE, Yahu instrument panels, and Master gun barrels and pitot tubes. Gary Troxel
What do I do with the Props. How are they supposed to attach. Instructions say don't glue. So the prop unit just falls off. Thanks,
