Dave Roof
Scheduled to be released in January are correctly sized MER/TER/BRU racks. Each will be one piece and 3D printed. Simply clean up, paint and attach to model. Suspension points on the ejector units will be designed for our ordnance to fit snugly with no modification needed to either the rack or bombs. Created with assistance from MALS-31 Ordnance, VMA-231 Ordnance, the Marietta Aviation History Center, Gerry Whiteside and fellow Marine, Lex Story. I've been wanting to do them for a while now, especially with my new ordnance doing better than expected. Getting help with the CAD work for the fairings pushed them to the front of the planned releases.

boom175
Is the A/A-37B-5E TER the same as a USAF TER-9A? ( Thats the label i remember seeing on the TERS on our jets)
stalal
This was long overdue. Thanks for this. Every kit maker has different details and different size for these parts.

( Thats the label i remember seeing on the TERS on our jets) They're almost identical. However, and as you're probably aware, some of the later USAF TER's had a different shaped tail cone. The very aft end was a hexagon shape instead of round. Then of course there are the high speed TER-9's. As we're designing these with different bodies/components for each part (nose/tail fairings, ejector units, strong backs, etc.), we can literally do any one of them. This, by the way, is the plan and I'll be adding those product numbers after Christmas. 36 minutes ago, stalal said: This was long overdue. Thanks for this. Every kit maker has different details and different size for these parts. Yes, the primary reason I decided to do them. There are some really nicely detailed MER/TER out there, but none of them are accurately sized and they don't cover the subtle changes made to the real items over the years. It's nice being an Ordnanceman that's actually worked on them!
boom175
Thanks Dave! All the ones I ever saw on my jet had the hex shaped rear.

It gets a little better. I've been talking to Richard VanZandt, who designed the F/A-18A-D pylons for my line, as well as the F/A-18E/F pylons for Phase Hangar. He recently completed pylons for the A-10, F-15E and A-7D/E. When the F/A-18 pylons were created, the suspension hook points were designed so my ordnance suspension lugs would match up for easy attachment. The other pylons are designed the same way. Basically, all of the ordnance and racks that I design and release will work perfectly with all of the pylons released from FLD, as well as PHR. I'll also be expanding the ordnance line to include more USAF stuff.

I hope I'm not derailing by asking this, but regarding the hornet pylons, are Hasegawa's and Kinetic's locating pin holes the same? Your product description includes a disclaimer that while designed for Hasegawa, they will work with all hornets. Regardless, having all these ordnance bits and pieces fit together the same way is awesome!

Yes to both. The plan is to cover as much ordnance as possible this year. I currently have two fellow modelers and two fellow Marines assisting with CAD work, so among the four of us, we should be able to do quite a bit.
