jpk
Excellent choice Tamiya! Between the KH Fury's and the Kinetic Pucara, my wallet is taking a hit.
RichardL
I will be buying a few of these for sure. Looks great.

I wonder if that means the windscreen clear part goes all the way down to the radome? Looks like it might be that way, just based on the color. Ben It looks like it goes all the way as per the F-14 This is great
boom175
After completing two of the ZM kits I am linding looking forward to the way the Tamiya engineers are going to design this Phantom should be interesting!
The Dude
Great news! My wallet will take a hit but I'm in for a bunch of them!
fulcrum1
Wow! My poor wallet. I guess those rumors about Tamiya doing the phantom from years ago had some truth to it.
okthree
Nice. Excited about this one. Now my dilemma is what to do with the Academy F-4B’s in my stash.
Charlie D.
I will gladly offer $25 each for all those now obsolete Academy F-4Bs 😝
Sabrejet
Well it will keep the kids busy I guess. On a day when HPH announced a 1/48 Do-X, Tamiya's announcements all looked a bit dreary.
11bee
Sigh...... was really hoping for something in 32nd but I’m sure T will do a wonderful job on the Phantom.

I had to piece together decals from 3 different manufacturers to get close. Hopefully, Caracal will be releasing some good stuff for this kit. Ben I'm buying three kits if I don't have to take out a second mortgage. I have a bunch of Impact decal sheets for Chu Lai and Da Nang Marine birds. I knew there was good reason to keep picking them up! gary
BillS
Total slam dunk. External details look bang on down to the rain removal nozzle. I wonder how Tam will roll it out. Hopefully in the US first!
Geoff M
This is a great surprise. And a good move to do the B first (not predicting they will do other versions 😉). Sure to be a good seller. I can always find room for another Phantom. Geoff M

Most folks have no idea, but right now is the real heyday of the F4b, but 53 years ago. Think Khe Sahn and the F4b's dropping gallon upon gallon of napalm all over the place. gary
Dustin
I can hear my wallet groaning already.....have to get at least 1 of these!

Maybe the only real down fall was in the weapons supplied. Bombs and napalm are needed. Actually minimal air to air stuff. Anyway we'll figure that part out sooner than later. For a follow up, please be thinking about an F4j and F4 Skyhawks in the same scale being as nobody else seems interested at the moment. gary
achterkirch
I noticed the top of the wings have the bump on them right above where the landing gear is. That’s no suppose to be on the B right. That’s just a J/S version type of deal correct?
ExchefAndy
As a kid in the 80's, I built a big beast of a Phantom 1/32, It might have been Monogram... just not sure. I fell in love with it, regardless of flaws or shape issues. It just looked so very cool! I've recently returned to the hobby, and 1/48 scale is my new thing. I want one!!!😎 Andy Edited January 26, 2021 by ExchefAndy Beer
