Su-35 decals used new formula so they are fine. All decals in the kit since then(2018), are all good. Including some re-issued kits using new boxing, the white/blue "Finnish" color ones. A bit delayed due to April production delay(the new 1/144 B-52G and other 2 re-issued kits). Shall hit domestic market end of this month or beginning of June.
haneto
A small building hint for GWH 1/48 Su-27 kits: do NOT fill the panel line. I intentially break parts by panel lines.

It would be much better to have that kit finally and then do NOT fill the panel lines. Now I have NOT a thing to fill it up. 🙂
Mimino
any updates on when will we get it ?
haneto
15th June in domestic market. Manufacture is suspended by those blo*dy 1/144 B-52G kits which were supposed to be released in April.

haneto
So the delivery man is already knocking everyone's door in China domestic market. Received my 5 boxes today. 🙂 The feeling of checking formal kit, is so different than the feeling when I got the sample kit several months ago.
madcop
Hi Haneto Happy to see that your efforts are rewarded, but what do you mean by "The feeling of checking formal kit, is so different than the feeling when I got the sample kit several months ago.". Do you mean that the content of the distribution box is quite different from the samples you received before ( so the diffrenet feeling), or do you mean that you felt much more relieved when receiving the definitive kit that also meant "The case of Su-27 Flanker B is, as far as you are concerned, definitely closed "? Thanks so much for all your efforts. Madcop
arnobiz
I sooo look forward to receiving the kit I ordered a couple of weeks ago!

Thanks so much for all your efforts. Madcop I'd presume it's much nicer to open the final kit with the packaging, box, instructions, etc. rather than just test run plastic sprues packaged with some bubble wrap. As ijozic said, content itself is totally same. The package(high quality printed box, decals, etc.) makes the overall feeling different.
Curt B
That's great that the Chinese market is getting their Su-27s... Now, how about the US...and the Tamiya 1/48 F-4B? I have funds ready for both of these, the instant they are available!!!
haneto
Oh yes, almost forgot this which I post on Facebook. One important tip for all Flanker builders: The pitot tube is not in the vertical against the end of radome, it is 3 degrees up against the radome center line. Yes no matter which varant you build, its ALWAYS 3 degrees up against the radome center line. I also attach the real size of the PVD-18 pitot tube which I measure it myself in Shenyang Aircraft Corporation more than 10 years ago, since some people questioned the kit part size is accurate or not. Believe me, this small feature will make your model looks so different, if you pay attention to it. Well it's already written in the GWH 1/48 Su-27 Flanker kit instruction sheet but sadly seems very few people do read it through...
