Revell #04216 Boeing 767-300ER Engines

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know which engines come in the Revell #04216 Boeing 767-300ER kit?  Apparently there are two different sets included.  I ask, because I want to build a KC-767 of the Italian Air Force which has the CF6-80C2 engines and need to know if I need to source different engines. K/r, Dutch

Thank you, Stephen.  The engines in the box don't look right, so the search begins for Bra.Z BZ4004.  Ah!  Hannants has several in stock, so in my cart they go for the next order.  Huh! That was easy!

On careful study of the Revell kit engines and comparsion with photos of the Bra.Z engines available online, I have concluded that the difference is not that great.  I need to add a small strip of plastic to the bottom trailing edge of the nacelle, but it looks pretty good from my untrained eye. So I will save the ~$12 & do a little modification instead.  K/r,  Dutch

Over on Airlinercafe, Sergey makes aftermarket engines that are very nice. Both Revell and Braz did not offer a suitable PW engine for my 1/144 767, but Sergey's are fantastic! Not sure about 767 GEs, but does make for 747-400, so don't see why not. druzdruz@yahoo.com to contact...
