RC boater Bill Posted March 22, 2021 Share Posted March 22, 2021 Has anyone used (or even purchased? ) this detail set? https://www.shapeways.com/product/7GGK7 ... k-interior The December 2017 issue of Fine Scale Modeler had a build article on the 1/72 HobbyBoss kit, and it mentioned using a Fireball Modelworks detail set. But looking at the FBMW website, it seems all they offer now are 1/24 and 1/25 auto parts. So I googled, and found the 3-D printed option on Shapeways mentioned above.... Tank Posted March 23, 2021 Share Posted March 23, 2021 Yeah, Joseph gave up the helo game. His shapeways items are still for sale but everything else is auto related and business is booming for him. His Jayhawks set was external only as I recall and included decals for all Jayhawks. I don’t have your linked set. Seems interesting but I pause at the price for what I want to spend for a Jayhawk but seems reasonable priced for the cad image detail that is provided. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
