paulsbrown
I've noticed both Zvezda and ICM now have their own paints with callouts in Zvezda's Su-57 and Yak-130 (pixel and camo colors, cockpit blue-gray etc) 1/48 kits for these acrylics. Just out of curiosity does anyone have any info or experience with them? Or are they just another brand redressed?
Helmsman
I've heard Zvezda paints are Vallejo. Tried them few years ago in Russia, didn't like them. Their recommended colors for MiG-29 were a bit off besides the usual hassle with acrylic paints based on proprietary thinner.
PouK9
ICM paints are AK 3rd gen acrylics as I've heard.
paulsbrown
Ok thanks, that's good to know. I'm pretty happy with Akan and MRP accuracies for modern Russian cockpits and camo colors out of of the many companies that have offerings, and I really don't need more paint, particularly inaccurate paints. I stay away from AMMO now after I received their Su-35 Flanker E paint set, it was insulting.
