Mr Masking sol issues

i apply the liquid in the surface but it never dries up ? and if you paint on top it remains wet below the painted surface . I remember years ago i used the Humbrol mask and it dried immediately . i have done a new test on a sprue and since 40 mn its still wet .

It sounds like you have a bad bottle of the masking solution. According to the description of the product I found on the internet, it is supposed to dry in 20 to 30 minutes to a translucent film.
