HL-10
Looking for some help/advice please I would like to convert the Airfix Fokker Friendship / Fairchild F-27 to the longer F-227. I know that they stretched the fuselage by 1.83m, but having trouble finding out precisely where they inserted the extra bit. Anyone have any information regarding this please? Many thanks, Angelo
scotty100368
Angelo, For the FH-227, the entire stretch was made in front of the wing. Just double the dimensions noted here for 1/72. Scott. Edited April 17, 2021 by scotty100368
AV O
Something strange on this diagram. The FH-227 has the back part aft of the wing the same dimension as the -500 which is already lengthened... FH-227 : 1 window aft of the engine nacelle, 3 ahead of the spinner. http://aviastar.org/air/usa/fair_fh-227.php https://www.airliners.net/aircraft-data/fokker-f-27-fairchild-f-27-fh-227/217 Edited April 17, 2021 by AV O
