pauly boy
Building a Heller DC6b, 1/72 that was flown by the Red Cross and need 3 "Red Cross" decals that would be suitable. One for each of the underside of the wings and one for under the fuselage. Were any ever produced? If no success then on to plan B and paint them on. Thanks for any help or info! ReccePhreak
ESCI made sets of multi-nation decals in 1/72, and set # 1 included both Red Cross & Red Crescent decals. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/esci-1-different-nations-national-insignas--133910 I don't know if they would be the right size though. pauly boy
Thanks Larry. I've done some more looking around and it seems several "Red Cross" decals may have been produced but whether they will suit my project is another question. Will have to start with specific measurements and work from there. Paul
ReccePhreak
On that sheet, the Red Cross USA markings have a white square that is .474" square, and the Red Cross is .403" across. Larry

Paul Paul, Iliad Design released a set of decals for the DHC-6 Twin Otter (72015) that had a International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) scheme with large red crosses. Perhaps that will work. pauly boy
Those look pretty good and they may just work. Now to track them down. Thanks for the heads up Dutch!
Dutch
Paul, Try this link at Modelingmadness for a review. It shows the sizes of the red crosses.
