jenshb
Anyone got some experience to share about their decals? Are they screen printed? ALPS? Laser? Looking at a set for the KH Mirage 2000-5, but would like to know whether they are worth the money.
Glynn Jacobs
Hi Jens, I have a set of their 72nd French Army Puma helicopter decals. They are screen-printed and are in register with nice color density. I haven't used them yet so I can't say how well they adhere to paint or if they need a glossy surface or not. They are also (to me, anyway) a little on the thick side but usable. They ARE a little pricey for the size of the sheet but, they are the only (decent) game in town, for Pumas, anyway. There are stencils for two complete birds and enough numbers and serials to make at least 10 different examples. Not much info but I hope it helps. As far as if they are worth the money or not, that'll be your call. Personally, if they have a subject you can't find on a sheet from another manufacturer, I would go for it. If not, I would use another manufacturer because of the thickness and relative cost. My 2 cents, WARDOG
