saddest thing in our world is that the best F100 kit is forty years young! The Trumpeter kit is something, but not an F100 anything!! You could get rich with a modern new tooled F100 that is correct

gary

You could say that about every cold war era jet Trumpeter/Hobbyboss did. F-100, F-105, A-5, A-7, F-111 etc. All except for maybe the A-7 badly need a better representation in 1/48 scale. Yet the standard attitude is those kits are new enough and therefore must be good enough even though all the faults with them are very obvious.

1/72 scale;

C-2 Greyhound

AJ-1/2 Savage (not the Mach2 crap)

P6M Seamaste (not the Mach2 crap)

How "bad" are these two kits? Particularly the Savage?

As for the 1/72 Greyhound WE DO NEED ONE. We've been waiting for ages!!!

They have shape and fit issues.

The Savage is a cross between a -1 and a -2.

A TF-102

    YOC3 silent aircraft

    Thunderceptor

whatever these were.  The seaplane was from the Thai Navy in 1972 and the other was from the government, doing classified missions:

1/48 Vought RF-8A/G Crusader.

I agree with that, as well as a 1/72 boxing.

A recce Crusader is way overdue, especially in the markings of the Cuban Missile Crisis (And Vietnam War).

F-86A in 1/48.  Come on!  Sterling combat history, longevity, oh-so-many colorful schemes both regular Air Force and ANG.

Spitfire PRXI in 1/48.  Airfix has the wing in the PRXIX kit and just needs a modification of the Mk IX fuselage and a new windscreen/canopy.  And maybe the XIX would work there too.  I have many plans for model companies money.

DHC 6 Twin Otter 1/48

C12 in 1/72 and 1/48
