Paddington
This is my F/A-18E Super Hornet by revell. Bought it for a low amount of money. It's not a bad kit. I just had some trouble with the decals , especially on the vertical stabilizers. They're nearly invisible, don't know why. I followed the federal standard colour schemes for the hornet. Anyway, the weathering was the hotspot for me. No panelline preshading anymore. Instead of this, black basing and a extensive use of oilwashes. Just trial and error and see what's in the end. So, at the end, i'm not 100% pleased with the result becaus of the decals. And now , time for bashing. Edited July 1, 2021 by Paddington
okthree
Nice work on a kit that doesn’t go together easily. Weathering looks great.
Thadeus
Very nice weathering. Nice work on the nose to fuselage transition. I remember the lower fuselage joint to nose being a particular pain.
