Thats not an easy job and im not even sure if it will work

Very fine grade sand paper to remove then clear off the plastic, then once its removed the plastic will be all scratched, you need to buff out those scratches with a polisher. Flory models do a good one but Im sure there are others who do just as good.

If it was an acrylic gloss or flat clear coat, you can remove it by slowly rubbing the canopy with isopropyl alcohol. It will eventually come off. You may have some fogging when done, but applying a gloss clear over it again will remove it.

Alcohol can cause cracks and microfractures in the surface of the acrylic. Ammonia can eat into the surface of acrylic and leave it looking cloudy. Most grades of acrylic are susceptible to chemical attack from aromatic hydrocarbons. Acrylic will even dissolve inorganic compounds such as acetone, benzene, or toluene.
