Tamiya Thunderbolt

Recommended Posts

Haven’t posted here for a bit. Here is my Tamiya P-47D Thunderbolt. I added an Ultracast resin seat and used Mike Grant decals for the markings. For the paint I used Vallejo throughout except I used Mission Models black primer.

Wow,

Incredible finish and it’s acrylic!?

Well done Quiddy,

All the paints are acrylic. I used Vallejo Metal Air paints for the metallic paints along with Vallejo Air for the other colours.

Oh ya 👍 I got that part. I’m just amazed how good it looks for an acrylic metal finish. I may have to buy the “New Formula “ they (Vallejo) put out and give it a shot.

Great job.

Thanks for the reply.

Take care,

Mr. Happy
