F-16
Does anyone know if there is a sanding tick that has the shape and size of the Fle-I-File "FLEX PAD"... But has the foam/soft backing of the Infini ones.. I like the small size/shape of the Flex I File ones. But I also like the foam backing of the Infini ones. Is there a sanding stick that has the best of both? Small size and foam backing? I don't want to cut up a perfectly good sanding stick/pad for this. dogsbody
I've got these Squadron ones that work quite well. I also have this. My daughter, a beautician, got it for me. Chris
echolmberg
Check the beauty & cosmetics aisles of your local Target, Walmart, drug store, etc. I've purchased a few sanding tools that are of the size you're looking for that also have the soft foam inner core. The ones I have often have the four sanding grits to shape, smooth and polish whatever it is I'm working on. Eric
Cloud in the Wind
I've taken to buying sheets of wet dry sandpaper from the local autoparts shop. Last time I went I bought a few sheets of 600, 1500, 2000 grit and just cut off strips and sections to wrap around old squadron sticks previously pictured. The economy of volume is definitely been worth it!
dogsbody
I have also glued some 600 girt sandpaper to flat toothpicks to make small sanders. Chris

Chuck1945
I’ve been using these “Thinny Strips” for a couple years. Narrow at one end, wider at the other end, foam core
F-16
Thanks for the info guys. I appreciate it. I found these two sanding sticks that look the part... Does anyone have either of these and can comment on them? They look the same to me except for the foam core? I can't tell if the Ammo ones have a foam core like the Ultimate sanding sticks.... Thanks. Scott CNJC-IPMS
