hawkwrench
I came across the pic of a 160th MH-60M and it looks like 2 new countermeasure detectors on the nose. Hmmm, wonder what those are? EDIT: After doing some snooping around, they aren't CM after all. Those are part of the DVE or Degraded Visual Environment sensors that are new to Army helos. It's no wonder, their 1st in line! The parasitic drag has to suck for this bird! Tim Edited December 16, 2021 by hawkwrench
ST0RM
Yep, we had one come in early November. It didn't have that mod yet. Interesting to see how much they bolt onto these birds.
11bee
What’s that “thing” to the right of the FLIR turret? The pinkish looking device.
Sarathi S.
My desire for a 1/48 MH-60M conversion is growing yet again. Come on Floyd, hook a brother up...
11bee
Interesting to see the differences in sensors (type, color, etc) between those two hawks above. Would love to see someone red line those pictures and point out (generally, obviously not in detail) what each of those lumps / bumps is for.
