Drifterdon
Question for the A-10 experts out there. Does anyone make an aftermarket Battelle gun gas diverter in 1/48 that some of the A-10's used in the 80's? I've started building an A-10 from the 18th TFS that flew at Eielson AFB when I was stationed there in the mid 80's. I remember most of the Hogs had this gas diverter installed. My scratch building skills aren't good enough to whip one of these up. Edited December 22, 2021 by Drifterdon
fasteagle12
If memory serves me, in 1/72 scale, Hasegawa had the part in their early/ mid 80's kit. Not sure about other scales.
boom175
They didn't last long as they cause a lot of sheet metal cracking. I think ours stayed on less than 6 months if not less.

If I can't scratch build one, I'll just say screw it and build it without.
