MikeDadofFour
Not to sound critical before product release but does anyone have concerns about ResKit investing all this effort to create 3D CAD and 3D printing of replacement parts for the HobbyBoss F-111 family but not correct the Canopy lines, but re-using the incorrect HB canopy. Any thoughts from those who may have been involved or seen the images on FB or at HobbyEasy Thanks! Mike B

Mike B Not sure what you're referring to, but everything I've read says the entire canopy/cockpit area is part of the new set. This includes new and corrected clear canopy/windscreen parts. MikeDadofFour
The pics I saw on FB look like they re-use the HB clear sprues. I hope it’s ok to post here. I hope you’re correct Dave that they’re doing their own clear parts but it look questionable. Seems they’re also working on a 1/32 scale version as well.
ijozic
They seem to be reusing the escape pod / cockpit frame part so they have to reuse the HB clear parts, too, then. Well.. I do hope they release the TP II intakes next. Edited February 4, 2022 by ijozic
MikeDadofFour
TPI and TPII please. ‘And wheel wells

I've also inquired about the wheel bays and bomb bays and they told me it's not happening soon but, in the future. Steve
ijozic
Perhaps they'll do a basic cockpit detail set (as shown above) and then another correction set which would include new clear parts and the escape pod?

Petarvu
No corrected windshield make no sense in correction set,it is kits most glaring error. I planned to buy 3 sets but if w/s is off it kills it for me...

aircommando130
Standing by on 243.0 as well. I have a squadron F-111 canopy to use on my HB "A" model if I need to. Cheers...Ron
MikeDadofFour
By the way, HOBBYEASY has the sets on pre-order for around $45US with release around March. Pretty steep so the resin better be good. Gonna wait to see comments when the sets come out before ordering. I’ve got a lot of their other stuff and it’s really well done. sigtau
A simple search for the Hobby boss kit sprues shows that they are not re-using the clear parts from the kit. It looks like they've gone custom injection molded for those parts. Also note that the clear parts for the opening portions of the canopy are designed to fit into the resin frame parts. ElectroSoldier
Going by their other products I think it will be superlative. I am looking forward to an accurate "all electric office" for a CosmiC Aardvark.
