goondman
Hello Was in the process of building an Italeri 1 48 A-10, and was surprised how well the engine was going together. Sort of. The fan part needed a little shaving off the front. Well, took too much off. Although it still fits, it looks ugly; huge gap between the nacel front and the fan-housing-thingy. I was going to order the quickboost replacement.... I heard it's a drop fit, but you all know how that goes 😕

I didn’t have too much of an issue with the Qb fans but some sanding was required to make it flush so it’s not a perfect drop fit. Some photos of my 1/48 Italeri A10 I completed in 2020 with the quickboost fans Goodness gracious me that is one ugly airplane. Great looking model though, it deserves a nice airfield background.
