haneto
Hi guys A quick question want to seek your help. I understand F-14A/B/D uses different wheel hubs for the main landing gear wheels, but I also notice there are both "Michelin " and “Goodyear" rubber tires used by the cats. So just wondering: if both brands are used randomly, by all 3 variants (A/B/D) by all time periods? Thank you for your reply in advance! Yufei

GW8345
I never paid attention to what tires we used so I would say they were used randomly (basically whatever the Tire & Wheel Shop gave us). I don't recall any tire being used for any specific time period so I would check your reference, if you don't have any reference then I won't sweat it. BillS
In my experience in the AF (F-4, F-16, T-38…) I think its safe to say you can mix and match rubber

Gwen Phoenix
Does this mean you're casting wheels for the F-14, Yufei? 😁
