Geoff M
Something a little different and not quite out of the box. I took Revell's (Monogram?) A-6E, Steel Beach KA-6D conversion, Quinta KA-6D 3D decals for the cockpit and AOA Decals to create a KA-6D Intruder. The Steel Beach kit was designed for the Kinetic kit but it worked fine with the Revell kit. I used AOA Decals 48-006 to model a KA-6D from VA-196 Main Battery from the 1972-73 time period. Hope you like it. Thanks for looking Geoff M Edited February 9, 2022 by Geoff M

SERNAK
I don't have Revell's Intruder but, recently a friend gave me as a gift Monogram's Prowler and the kit is huge! Now, I have to figure out how I'm going to fold those wings and the details that I need to add. Beautiful work, by the way.
Geoff M
I have the Monogram EA-6B and it is in the queue for later this year. I have the Meteor Productions stuff to bring it up to snuff. Geoff M
SERNAK
No aftermarket set for me yet Geoff but, I do plan on buying a few! Some seats and a resin cockpit but the second only to use it as a reference for the kit's cockpit. the truth is I'm a bit lazy when it comes to looking at photos to replicate details. I mentioned earlier the folded wings. Well, another option that is within my likes is to have the Prowler ready for launch on an aircraft carrier deck. Imagine the proportions and the materials someone needs to build such a diorama and the aftermarket sets that he will need to complete it!!!
