R.Wells
Nice work!! I just picked up this kit tonight in a trade. I'll be doing mine in an aggressor scheme.
Kurt H.
Oh no I missed this one too. Great work. It is hard running a GB this way, but I am so glad to see so much participation 😃
R.Wells
I apologize if this is not the correct spot in the forum, but since this is a F-16 group build, is there any one that might be able to point me in the direction where I might find Afterburner Decal Sheet AD48-034. I have checked the usual places, but NO Joy. Thank you in advance.
Geoff M
Afterburner decals are out of business, so your most likely source is probably someone who has a copy and would be willing to part with it. You can post your request in the Buy and Sell forum and hope somebody might see it.
R.Wells
Thank you Jeff. Bullseye looks to be making a set I could use, but I don't know how to contact them. I'm no longer on FB, and won't rejoin just for that.
habu2
Bullseye = Afterburner, Scott just changed the name. He used to post over on zone-five forums, don’t know if he still does….
kurnass77
Look very good mate. Bullseye produce some beautiful sheets, and for F-16s a pair of great Desert Storm sheets, unfortunately I'm a 72nd guy and Bullseye work 1/48 decals...a real shame for me, as I'll buy almost all the jet decals it do Gianni

Gwen Phoenix
Another two-seat Viper in 1/48th scale! Great work so far, Geoff. How long has this kit been sitting in your stash? Cheers, Gwen
Geoff M
Too long to remember but this group build is helping me clear out some oldies. Geopff M
Geoff M
Finished this one up a few days ago. Here are the final bits of work and the finished product. Gloss coat with future getting ready for decals. Decaling in progress, may be even completed (I don't remember🤔) After the decals were on I gave it another shot of future and then I applied a panel line highlight using Tamiya panel line highlighter. I used Dark Gray on the bottom and Light Gray on the upper surface. Here are pics of the finished model. This a F-16D from the 184th TFTS, it was a training unit for ANG pilots. Time frame was the mid 80's. This plane was painted up as tribute to the 184th Maintenance Squadron. As a training unit I put practice bombs and sidewinders on it. Shots of the Quinta cockpit details Since I had just finished a Tamiya F-16 as a Thunderbird, I had some parts left over from it. I used the pylons and wing tanks from the Tamiya kit, they looked a little more detailed. Edited March 19, 2022 by Geoff M

Ray N
Hi Geoff, Do you have the original decal from the Hasegawa 1/48 F-16D kit? It comes with a SHARK MOUTH decal? I am very interested to purchase it because I can’t find this kit anymore. best wishes Raymond Edited January 20 by Ray N

Yes I have it. it is a tad yellowed, but nothing that can't be remedied by sun exposure. If you're fine with that. Where are you located?
