junobeach
Good Day Folks I have completed my second build and first full attempt at a diorama. Tamiya 1:35 Scale ARCHER, Eduard Photo etch, Thatchweave netting. All brush painted and weathered with Vallejo products. Base is scratched built. The Archer is representing the 3rd. Cdn. Inf. junobeach
Good day Phantom, thanks for the comments. The Archer is 17pdr. SPG developed by the British. It is built on a Valentine tank body with an engineered addition of the 17 pdr. towed anti tank gun. It was the first SPG built by the British and was followed by the Achilles (British) M10 and the American version M 10 Wolverine. All Canadian units artillery in 1942 were issued some in Italy and then in 1944 during the invasion of Europe. It was highly effective against Germany armour.
