Aurélien
Hello, I know it's been a while since my last post, I'll be more active. While I won't do the AK interactive mig 21 I'm planning to get for easter as "740" (22 26 in a what if livery with the DDR marking still visible inspired by 22 39 with the tail marking being the german flag over the DDR marking, the configuration will be FFAR with GP 9 and JATO boost), I'll use the 740 marking provded for a what if export mig 21 MT using the eduard SMT at 1/48 scale. What do you think of AK interpretation is him being metal? From: https://www.super-hobby.fr/products/MIG-21PFM-16057143.html#gallery_start Thanks for your answer (and yes, I'm diversifying even more with cold war jet, already have mig 21 MF and yak 23 from KP), here's my inspiration for my what if http://www.f-a-p.nl/images/mig_div/ger21/2239.jpg from http://www.f-a-p.nl/sites/mig_div/ger21.htm Edited March 15, 2022 by Aurélien
SCOUT712
Hello, On the German modelling site Flugzeugforum there was a discussion not long ago about that exact jet. Clicky Off course it is in German but you could use Google translate. First of all, it was not wired to carry the GP-9 gun gondola and secondly there is a lot of discussion about when it was painted in camo and sent to the museum in Madrid. Aurélien
Thanks for the link, I understand german somewhat. Note that I'm doing a what if, it won't be a accurate representation of 22 26. It wasn't wired because it was one of the earlier PFM they got, I've read they didn't got the GP9 until some time.
