seawinder Posted March 16, 2022 Share Posted March 16, 2022 I'm starting the venerable Monogram A-37B and plan to do it in Vietnam War markings. Two questions if I may: 1. Am I right in thinking that the instrument panel in 1970 was all black? Online photos show significant areas of Gull Gray, but I'm thinking that was a later modification? 2. What would be a reasonable educated guess for the color of the quilted material on the cockpit sides? Photos show everything from buff to khaki to a bluish gray similar to Dark Ghost Gray. Thanks! Rob Mignard Posted March 16, 2022 Share Posted March 16, 2022 This should help. I took this photograph at Nha Trang Air Base in March, 1970. As you can see, the instrument panel is gray, as is the soundproofing quilt. This was the standard at the time. The black instrument panels came later. Mig Quote Link to post Share on other sites
