Billabob
So I did something stupid. I was trying to remove some primer from the wind screen from the 1/48 Hasegawa A-7 wind screen and it had gotten soft and cracked in two. I know it's not repairable so I'm just wondering what options there are.
VADM Fangschleister
Glue it back together, sand it smooth, attach a stick or rod underneath with epoxy putty. acquire some clear acetate, heat it and "push mold or vacuform a new one over the top of the broken one. phantom
Simple, glue it back on. Use white glue on a tissue, paint it, then Voila, Squadron coloured maintenance cover.
BuNo02100
I would either vac a new one after repairing the original or contact Hasegawa and order a replacement. I want to say they have some form of customer support and info posted. BW
