Geoff M
Show how you display your models. Here is mine. Thats all I got. Geoff M
roym
That's an impressive display. 👏 Beyond that, individually your models are stunning. Really well finished. What scale? We remodelled our living room a couple of years ago, and I lost my display shelves. Still trying to figure out a replacement that will work.
Geoff M
Thanks for the compliment. There are 3 1/32 scale in the cabinet (P-40, P-51, P-47), everything else is 1/48. If your wife was like mine you could put them in the living room 😁 (I wish) Geoff M
phantom
Here we go, mostly 1/32 stuff.. Odds and sods, mostly Phantoms to the rear. Hard to get a good shot of the CVW-8 stuff. Canadian wall. Star Trek stuff

Scott Smith
Thanks Geoff. But the dust still finds a way to creep into it. Not as quick as open shelves though.
Ben Brown
I have officially run out of room. I built this display case about 30 years ago, and I have to rotate out the older builds when I finish something new. Mostly 1/48, with a 1/32 F-4E and F-100, 1/144 airliners, and 1/25 Indy cars. I haven't gotten around to building a display case for my 1/24 cars, so they're gathering dust on the corner of my desk. Hunter was just finished and needs to go to the display case. Sci fi shelf. These will go in whatever display case I eventually build for the cars. Ben Edited March 25, 2022 by Ben Brown
Scott Smith
Ben, I see more room in that display case. Move the shelves a little closer and add a shelf?

Not quite enough overhead with some of the taller tails, unfortunately. I just need to get off my backside and build another case before I run out of room on my desk. 😄 Ben

Dan 88
Office and garage cases. The top row in the garage is all of my brothers builds, that will be opened up soon so I can add more of my builds. 😎
Wolfgun33
Here's my current display bookshelves. Not much room left.
Scott Smith
Isn’t it funny as adults we want to build/buy cabinets to display our talents while as kids we couldn’t wait to finish them to take them outside and blow them up with firecrackers and shoot them with our BB guns? I think I was around 12 or 13 before I started to display them. Edited March 29, 2022 by Scott Smith

speedlimit
I have 4 Detolf Ikea and I have been adding extra shelves to make them home for atleast 12 1/48 jets each.

How are you adding shelves? I've got some of those cases and could definitely use the extra shelf space in them. Cheers, SCott
A-10 LOADER
Picked this cabinet up about 2 years ago for $50. It had 2 doors on the base unit, which I removed and, I had 2 glass shelves made to fit it. It's getting full so, time to build a bigger one. Steve

Cheers, SCott Bought extra picture frame glasses from Lowes and had them cut (free) to exact detolf shelf dimension. Next, buy 3d printed Detolf extra brackets from ebay. P-38 guy
Mine. Built 20 plus years ago. Looking in to adding LED light strips at some point. Last one is over flow in the basement and storage. The case is two sections with the other on the back side of this and its packed full of unbuilt P-38 kits. I'm guessing 70 plus.
Dotcom
IKEA Besta with the glass doors. Unfortunately the doors are out of production and it took me quite some ebay and other searches to track enough of them. I figure they offer space for 100 models in mixed 72nd and 48th scale. Currently I am at 57, and at my rate of 5/y I should run out of space around 2030. Mostly 1/48, then some cars, 1/700 fleet and RC stuff all around. Opposite wall in 1/72. Difficult to light properly, I am in the basement. Blue skies, Andy

Helmsman
There are also few chests here and there with models on top, mostly 1:32, I didn't bother to take pictures of all.
