It now sits on the shelf, near the single-seater that I did with Alclad a few years ago. I think I like the aluminum foil shine better.

My cousin owns and has restored the cockpit of 104760 - I wonder if your father or uncle had any time on it. You may be interested in knowing that at least part of the airframe still lives a pampered life 🙂

Nice souvenir! I gave my father's logbooks away to a museum, so can't check - but there's a good chance one or both of them flew that tail number. I love hearing about well-preserved aviation relics.
