TMReich
1. Is there a current 1/48 aftermarket source for the small stabilators? 2. are they included in any kit in 1/48? 3. Can anyone recommend a good source for drawings if I need to cut down the Tamiya ones? Thanks
habu2
Early small stabs are included in the Monogram, ESCI, (early) Revell and (early) Tamiya kits. Several reference books have good drawings, I'm away from home but will try to look when I return. Best estimate is to cut the trailing edge even with the aft edge of the speed brake. jenshb
Cut the trailing edge in line with the speedbrakes. Cut the leading edge back (Look at photos to see a suitable reference on the fuselage). Cut the span to remove the chamfer on the trailing edge.
