Jon Krol
The 2022 Shizuoka Hobby show has happened and there been no mention of it in HS ot ARC., at least as far as I have seen. Is there any interesting news this year?
Ben Brown
There hasn’t been a lot to talk about. Still no Lamborghini Huracan GT3! Hopefully Hasegawa will release left hand drive versions of their new RX-7s. Other than new versions of Tamiya’s P-38 and F-4B, I haven’t seen much of interest in the aviation side of things. Here’s a link to some of the new kits: LINK Ben
habu2
Question about the Hasegawa RX7 kit - is this the 1/24 FB (1st gen) or the 1/12 FD (3rd gen) or ????

It’s the 1/24 SA and FB. They’ve broken it down so they can produce kits of both. The FB kit looks like it has the same wheels as the GSL-SE, to there’s a possibility for that version in the future too. There’s also a version for the Daytona race winner. ElectroSoldier
The shows are not what they used to be with regards to announcing new releases. Companies announce new releases on social media now and just show what we know they already have at the trade shows. Give it 10 years and you will see a decline in trade shows because they take so much to lay on and give so little.
